We unlock human and autonomous exploration in GPS-denied environments by pioneering a new class of physics-based sensing, expanding what's possible where it matters most.
We harness precision physics to enable GPS-independent navigation and to monitor changes in the Earth’s climate. We believe that we are capable of exploring more than we do now - radical thinking and innovative new technologies pave the way.
How does the bear know where it's going, how does the fish or butterfly know where to migrate? How does the Godwit bird fly from pole to pole? Navigation is primal and essential. Humans are unique in that we create tools rather than reply on our intrinsic connection to the planet to find our way. We believe this can be done better.
Humans are unique in that we create tools to navigate rather than replying on our intrinsic connection to the planet, at Godwit - we make these tools more precise and more resilient.
About Us
We're a team of passionate scientists and builders, dedicated to building technology to navigate uncharted waters. Building technology for teams to find their way, where other technology fails.
